🏥 Consultations, emergencies and hospitalization
Lucas, a 4‑year‑old labrador, swallowed a toy. He underwent emergency surgery and stayed hospitalized for two nights. The insurance reimbursed 90% of the bill: over €1,200 returned.
💊 Surgeries, anesthesia, medication and pharmacy
Mimi, an 8‑year‑old cat, had mammary tumor surgery. From anesthesia to antibiotics: all included.

How old does my dog or cat need to be to take out the insurance?
✅ Dogs: over 2 months and under 7 years old.
✅ Cats: over 2 months and under 10 years old.
Do I need a microchip?
✅ Yes. To take out the insurance, your pet must be identified with a microchip (or tattoo), as stated in the policy.
Can I go to any veterinarian?
✅ Yes. With our insurance you can go to any veterinarian in Spain, with no restrictions.
📌 Also, if you travel with your pet, you’re covered in:
✔️ All European Union countries.
✔️ Switzerland, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, San Marino, The Vatican, Monaco and Norway.
✔️ Trips or temporary stays of up to 90 days.
🚫 There is no clinic network and no restrictions. We want you to choose the vet you like most and, if you need a specialist, to go to the best one. 😃🐾
Does it include civil liability?
✅ It is a guarantee you can purchase either together with the veterinary insurance or as a standalone civil liability coverage.
📌 It is not included by default in the veterinary insurance: it must be purchased separately and must appear in your Specific Policy Conditions.
Are there waiting periods?
✅ No waiting period: Vaccines and deworming, Civil Liability.
⏳ With waiting period:
Accidents and surgery due to accident: 7 days.
Illnesses: 45 days.
Surgery due to illness: 6 months.
Cruciate ligament rupture: 6 months.
⚠️ The date of the veterinary visit is taken, not the date of the reimbursement request.
Does the insurance cover vaccines?
✅ Yes. You can request reimbursement for vaccines and antiparasitic treatments from the day after purchase, with no waiting period.
📌 Annual limit by plan:
🦸 Hero: up to €90 per year
🛡️ Guardian: up to €70 per year
🐾 Protector: up to €50 per year
✔️ Reimbursement can be requested up to two times per year.
What about pre-existing conditions?
🚫 Known or diagnosed conditions before taking out the policy are not covered.

How do reimbursements work?
✅ You visit the vet, pay the bill, and upload the documentation online.
📌 To avoid delays, make sure you attach the invoice and the vet report with your pet’s details.
What documents do I need to request reimbursement?
✅ You need a vet invoice + clinical report.
📌 Important: the invoice should include your pet’s details (name and microchip) and itemized concepts.
Is there a commitment and can I cancel?
✅ You have 14 days to withdraw after purchase.
📌 After that, the policy is annual and non-renewal must be requested with the notice stated in the conditions.
